FRAGMENTS OF ANA
FRAGMENTS OF ANA is a monologue (or almost) in situ that explores solitude with sweetness and poetry. Fragments of Ana is a celebration of life and memory. Constructed from the intertwining of fiction and reality, the show appeals our ability to connect and challenges our sense of community.
Ana is a character who fights against oblivion with gentleness. The microcosm of her house invites to a reflection on the passage of time, the loneliness and the inevitability of death.
In this project, the intercultural dimension is symbolic. The bilingualism and intertwining of different memories, as well as the construction of a hybrid reality, aim at an analogy with the plural stories that composes the city of Montreal.
